Simon lost his first tooth!

Simon and Daddy went in the bathroom during dinner to pull his tooth. We all sat at the table waiting for the scream and a few minutes later sure enough, he starts hollering. We all jumped and waited. Then Simon ran out laughing. Thayne pulled the tooth out and then told Simon to start yelling to scare us. It worked!

We spent the evening going to "Pizza Planet" otherwise known as Piccolo's. Quinn is really into Toy Story. Then we went to see Toy Story 3 afterwards. Then we came home and had cupcakes. Again, Quinn wanted us to wear party hats that were left over from his birthday. He kind of runs the show doesn't he?

Sewing

Hannah has become interested in sewing. She has started learning how to embroider on pillowcases and in this picture she is finishing a project for me that I started years ago. She is sewing sequins on this Christmas wall hanging.

Fishing

Simon caught the first and only fish...a blue gill. We ate it for lunch today. We each had one bite. :)

Haircut Time

I cut the three boys' hair Saturday morning...outside...and their nails too. It was so nice to get that done first thing on Saturday and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day.

Father's Day

I let the kids each have $5 to buy a gift for Father's Day. It was really fun to take them to Walmart and see what things they thought daddy "needed". :)
