Happy 12th Birthday!

Collin has wanted to try "I Fly" for a couple of years now so when we got a coupon in the Cherry Days parade, this was the perfect opportunity. He was a little nervous but very brave and excited. We all went to the training with him and then had fun watching him learn. It was harder to learn than I thought. The trainer was really good with him. He had the best time!

He wanted a hamster last year for his birthday so we gave him a fish to practice taking care of an animal. He did really well, so this year....he got a hamster. He was really surprised!

He made his own two layer chocolate cake. It only got dropped on the floor once during the frosting. Pretty good!

My Sister and I

I love sisters! I am so lucky to have four of them. Time for another sister picture girls! Andrea is almost exactly ten years younger than I am and it's funny how often people comment on how much we look alike...I don't really see it. :)

This was taken on one of our hikes this summer. We were suprised at how well Quinn did hiking. He loves it!

Camp out with the Kohls

Collin dug this rock out of the water. The kids had fun digging up rocks and then throwing them back in.

Quinn fell asleep on top of me...he was so tired I guess. I couldn't believe it when I realized he was actually asleep.

This was our group minus Jason who was taking the picture. 4 adults and 8 kids. FUN! We had such a great time, good food and good company!

Simon lost his first tooth!

Simon and Daddy went in the bathroom during dinner to pull his tooth. We all sat at the table waiting for the scream and a few minutes later sure enough, he starts hollering. We all jumped and waited. Then Simon ran out laughing. Thayne pulled the tooth out and then told Simon to start yelling to scare us. It worked!

We spent the evening going to "Pizza Planet" otherwise known as Piccolo's. Quinn is really into Toy Story. Then we went to see Toy Story 3 afterwards. Then we came home and had cupcakes. Again, Quinn wanted us to wear party hats that were left over from his birthday. He kind of runs the show doesn't he?
