Here we are wearing the fake teeth we won at Bingo. Thanks Laura!

This was taken on the FrontRunner on our way down to temple square to see the lights. I highly recommend this mode of travel! It was fun and the kids loved it.

Quinn surprised me by walking into the kitchen with Thayne and my Christmas stockings on his feet. Funny!
These are the cookies we made for some of our neighbors. The kids had fun decorating them for me.
Simon made this gingerbread house in Kindergarten. He really enjoyed making it "all by himself".

Green Acres Choir

This is Collin's third year in the Green Acres Choir and he has really enjoyed it. Practices are two mornings a week before school and so he really must love it to get up early. Last night was the Christmas performance. They sang about 6 songs and did one non-singing piece with the black lights and white gloves. It was great....the audience really loved it.

Reflections Contest

Hannah and the two boys put pictures and sculptures into the Reflections contest. The theme was "Beauty is..." I still haven't rounded up the boys to get their pictures taken. Collin's sculpture went on to the next level and he was judged with the middle school kids.

Checking out the Loot!

Picking out pumpkins at the fruit stand.
Here are some of the little ones I watch during the week.

Collin got this apple from his Scout leader's apple tree. It was huge!

Finally, some Halloween pictures!

Happy Birthday to my sweet little 9 yr. old! What a treasure she is!
We gave her an 18" doll for her birthday. She really loves it and has changed the doll's clothes and hairstyle many times already.

YEP these are my little boys having a "tea party". Water with a fair amount of sugar added to each little cup. Good times!

This is our annual "cook dinner in the park" evening. It was quite cold but we got a nice fire going and it turned out well.

We had a fun little party in the backyard for some of Simon's friends. Here they are playing "hot potato".
Happy 6th birthday Simon!
This is a picture of Collin after he crashed on his bike. Notice the hole in the shirt!
This is at the cemetery for the burial of Grandma Bingham. These are Thayne's 6 brothers...they look a lot a like! Jens, Eli, Thayne, Clifton, Phillip, Benjamin, Phillip.
A before church picture.

Ok, it's been over a month since I posted anything. I'm still alive! I just need Thayne to help me because my computer virus system won't let me download my pictures. He has been so busy getting into school but he loves it and will finish up his first class tomorrow night. Then we will be on to 4 nights a week at school for the next 4 weeks. Hope we survive! I am so glad that canning is over for another year. It's nice to see all the fruit on the shelves downstairs. The kids are really enjoying school...especially Simon. He gets pretty bored in the afternoons when everyone is either napping or still at school. We try to play games or read but sometimes we just need quiet time. It has been really cold; it snowed a little bit yesterday. I hope we get one more warm up before it gets super cold.

My two little boys

Here are my little Simon and Quinn. Simon starts Kindergarten on Monday...we will miss him!

Arrow of Light

This is Collin "walking over the bridge from cub scouts to boy scouts".
Collin is holding his special Arrow of Light award....it's too hard to see but it's an indian arrow with feathers and such on it.

Here are the cub scout leaders "burning" Collin's webelos scarf to see if he is honest???? Long story. It didn't burn so he passed. I am so proud of him for working so hard and that now I have a boy scout! Wow!

My Boys

Up and coming super heroes.

Apples

Here are most of the apples we picked off our tree. We canned 21 quarts of applesauce, 14 quarts of pie filling and a few batches of dried apples with some left in the fridge for eating. We didn't even touch the wagon full of apples....I gave them to a neighbor.

Youth Conference 2009

There were beautiful wildflowers everywhere! It was so beautiful!
Here I am on the top of Ben Lomond Peak! It was such a great hike.

Girl's Night Out

We had our very first "girl's night out"! We went out for dinner and then came to my house, exchanged recipes and then played Mormon Bridge and Curses. We had a great time laughing and just having fun together. I hope we can have another one sometime soon!

Cherry Hill

Thayne and Simon on the waterslide....we had to practically drag Simon on it and then he loved it.
This was the little spot we found for our stuff and came back every couple of hours for more food and sunscreen.

Birthday!

Happy 11th birthday Collin! He had five friends over and we went to the park and played baseball with three of my brothers. I hit a home run! Then we came home and watched a movie. It was a lot of fun.

APRICOTS

This picture doesn't really do justice, but just imagine a huge tree with tons and tons of apricots on it. I am doing jam, syrup, pie, apricot crisp, frozen cubes, and Thayne even made some apricot candy. I have to buy disposable gloves for the kids so that they will help me pick up the smooshy apricots. We probably pick up 250 a day. Good thing tomorrow morning is garbage day!
